I’m Cass, a disciple of Jesus, a wife, a mama to two amazing boys, and the heart behind My Beloved Weddings.
My love for weddings began long before this business. As a professional flower girl in the 90s, I was drawn to the joy and hope they hold. Now, I have the privilege of guiding couples with the peace and love I’ve found in Christ.
I will be your peaceful wedding guide for however long you feel would benefit you and your families in this season. It's a joy and a privilege to come alongside you, holding your worries and encouraging you every step as you prepare for a wedding day and for your marriage.

My Beginning.
My love for weddings began long before this business. Because I have a huge family, I grew up going to so many weddings especially when I was younger. I was a flower girl 3 times and I was immediately drawn to the contagious joy and hope weddings hold for so many people.
I love when the couple sees each other for the first time and their faces light up with pure love. It's amazing how a ceremony can be anything the couple wants it to be to show who they are and their love for each other. I'll always say yes to dessert and I absolutely love a good dance party (oldies, the classics, 80s, the macarena, pop, all of it). Weddings are a time of joy and it's a pleasure to be part of every celebration.
My Faith.
I grew up in the Catholic church, always knowing the story of salvation through Jesus. Yet, I didn't fully understand what that meant until college. I was absolutely living for myself and pursuing temporary things, hoping that would fill the hole that existed in my heart. My deepest desire was to feel wanted and loved fully, no matter what my past held. After hearing the parable of the Prodigal Son (also referred to as the parable of the Running Father) I knew He wanted me and fully loved me and He gave His only Son for me. Regardless of what I had done or what had happened to me in the past, He joyfully runs towards me, accepting me fully and offering me undeserved grace and an eternal home with Him.
My Person.
Tyler and I met in 2015 at a summer discipleship program hosted by The Navigators in Jacksonville, FL. He had just graduated from K-State and I had graduated from Northwest Missouri. I was drawn to his humor, his joy, his dashing good looks, and most of all his love for Jesus and others.
After 3 years of friendship and several coffee dates, I finally moved to KC and we started dating. 10 months later we were engaged and 6 months after that we got married in January of 2020.
I love being married to my best friend and I couldn't have asked for a better partner and father to my kids.
My Boys.
Jensen was born in August of 2022 and Arden (Ardie) was born in April of 2024.
I spend most of my days chasing these boys all over. They love to sign and dance, they love climbing and jumping off of everything in sight and they are almost as silly as their dad. I love them so much and it's a privilege to watch them grow and learn.
My Favs.
I love vanilla oat milk lattes and just sitting in a coffee shop to read or listen to music.
I've been reading an absurd amount of historical romance novels, I've lost count.
If I can spend a few hours at an antique mall or thrift store, I'm a very happy girl!
I'll enjoy a craft or paint for a couple hours to rest or reset.
We try to go to tons of concerts (Ben Rector is amazing!) and musicals in St. Joe and at the Music Hall.
Tyler and I are very into themed parties. We have hosted turtleneck parties, Harry Potter parties, English breakfast and football parties. We love a theme and going all out!
We make it a point to travel as often as we can. London, Edinburgh, Budapest, Beijing, and NY have been some of my favorite places!
It was my dream to go to Europe before we had kids so we made a trip to London, as well as a few English country towns, and Edinburgh.
Shortly, after that one of my best friends got married in Budapest and it's still one of my favorite weddings I've ever been to.
Wherever we travel, I am determined to see as many paintings by Monet and Van Gogh as I possibly can. If these paintings were Pokémon, I would want to catch them all.
Bucket list paintings I've yet to see: Van Gogh's Almond Blossoms, Starry Night Over the Rhône, Cafe Terrace at Night, and his Self-Portrait, Monet's La Gare Saint-Lazare, Poppy Field, Water Lilies series in Paris, and of course da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
My Why.
As a bride, I saw a need for a planning experience that wasn’t focused on appearances. I wanted something peaceful, personal, and intentional.
To us, marriage reflects a greater love story that we’re all part of. A wedding is more than a day or a pretty party, it’s a celebration of an eternal love, the beginning of a sacred covenant. That’s why it’s worth preparing for with intention and it’s a season to be joyful about!

My Experience.
I always loved planning parties, but I started considering a career in events while in college. I was Social Chair for my sorority and planned several themed events, formal dances, and fellowship events. Since I graduated over a decade ago (yikes!), I've planned events for the campus ministry I worked for and worked as a non-profit event coordinator, planning banquet dinners all over the US. I've spent the last six years serving in weddings, and it has been a real dream come true.
